Homelessness is now our way of life.  Carlie keeps getting mad at me for saying we are homeless but I’m just being factual.  We had a great Sunday a couple of days ago with the people at Center Point Church of Lexington, KY.  I was invited to come lead their two morning services because Todd Thomas, their worship pastor and my friend, was bringing the Word.  Center Point is a really great church that seems to be doing a great job reaching out not only to the students at UK and those that reside in Lexington but also reaching out to their community and the world.  After the service(s) we ate lunch with a team from the church that is getting ready to go to Brazil in early August (which is why I’ll be back there on the 2nd- Todd will be in Brazil).  Be in prayer for Todd and his group as they prepare to bring the Light and Life to an orphanage in Brazil.  Todd actually wrote a very generous review of “Children Without Names here.

Right now, we are with the students of Colonial Heights Baptist from Ridgeland, MS in Bagdad, KY at camp.  It’s been a great week thus far- even though a cold has wiped out my vocals chords.  More to come when we’re done…
